Welcome to Vertices ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms to use our services.
2. Use of Services
Vertices provides a platform for job seekers and employers to connect, including:
- Job search and alerts
- Resume/profile management
- Personalized career recommendations (powered by AI)
- Job applications
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
3. User Accounts
- Users must provide accurate information when creating accounts.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Vertices reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
- All content on Vertices, including text, graphics, logos, software, and AI-generated outputs, is owned by Vertices or its licensors.
- You may use content only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
- Users retain ownership of their own uploaded content (e.g., resumes) but grant Vertices a license to use it to provide services.
5. AI Services
Vertices uses AI services (such as Azure OpenAI) to provide features like resume analysis and job recommendations.
- AI outputs are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.
- Vertices is not responsible for decisions made based on AI outputs.
6. Paid Services and Refunds
Vertices offers certain paid, one-time digital and AI-powered resume features (such as resume review, resume tailoring, and resume upgrades). Payments are processed through Razorpay; see our Privacy Policy for details on payment and transaction data.
- Each purchase is a one-time transaction that grants a corresponding credit or entitlement to use the purchased feature.
- All purchases are final. Once a paid feature has been generated or delivered, or the associated credit or entitlement has been consumed, it is non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- If you are charged in error due to a verified billing or technical issue (for example, a duplicate charge or a payment that failed to verify), we will correct the charge or issue a refund.
- Vertices reserves the right to refuse service, withhold or revoke credits or entitlements, or suspend accounts involved in fraud, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, or attempts to circumvent usage limits.

7. Job Applications & Employer Interactions
- By applying to jobs through Vertices, you consent to sharing relevant profile information with potential employers.
- Vertices does not guarantee job placement or responses from employers.
- Employers are responsible for their own recruitment practices and compliance with applicable laws.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content
- Interfere with or disrupt our services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
- Use automated scripts or scraping tools without permission
9. Third-Party Services
Vertices may integrate third-party services (e.g., analytics, email, AI providers). We are not responsible for third-party practices. Users should review third-party terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Services are provided "as-is" and "as available."
- Vertices does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertices is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services.
11. Termination
Vertices may suspend or terminate your account or access to services at any time for violations of these Terms or other reasons at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time.
12. Changes to Terms
Vertices may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the "Effective Date" updated. Your continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vertices operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in that jurisdiction.
