Job Summary:
Policybazaar is hiring an experienced Sales Manager to lead the Direct Channel business for our Insurance vertical in Kochi. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, team management, and business development, with the ability to drive regional sales performance and manage large multi-level teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive regional business growth and achieve sales targets for the Insurance business.
- Lead and manage a large field sales team comprising:
- Assistant Managers (AM)
- Deputy Managers (DM)
- Team Leaders (TL)
- Field Sales Executives (FSE)
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and target achievement.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and identify business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in Insurance, BFSI, or Financial Services.
- Proven experience in managing regional sales operations and multi-layer field sales teams.
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
- Experience in Direct Channel (Open Market) sales is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Handled more than 200+ employees.
- Knowledge of the regional language (Malayalam) is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
Working Schedule
- 6 Days Working
- Saturday & Sunday are mandatory working days
- One rotational weekly off.
