Sr. Structural Design Engineer

1. Structural Design: Develop detailed structural designs for a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
2. Analysis and Calculations: Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards.
3. Code Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry codes, regulations, and standards to ensure designs comply with all relevant requirements.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
5. Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction teams.
6. Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials for construction based on structural requirements and cost considerations.
7. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Site checking/inspection/approvals regarding concrete mix.
8. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design issues and challenges during the construction phase.
9. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, calculations, and revisions.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
2. Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in structural design and analysis.
3. Proficiency in structural design software (e.g. ETABS, STAAD, SAFE).
4. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective Communication skills along with good site interaction and knowledge
