About the Role

The Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing garment graphics, prints, motifs, patterns, and artwork. The role involves independently managing design projects from concept development to final production-ready artwork, creating marketing and catalogue collaterals, and guiding junior designers, while ensuring designs align with brand, customer, and production requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop garment graphics, prints, motifs, patterns, and artwork
• Independently manage design projects from concept development to final artwork
• Create production/print-ready designs and garment mock-ups
• Design catalogues, lookbooks, presentations, social media creatives, and marketing collaterals
• Ensure designs meet brand, customer, commercial, and production requirements
• Review and maintain the quality and accuracy of artwork before final submission
• Guide, mentor, and review the work of junior designers
• Stay updated with fashion, textile, graphic, and print trends and incorporate relevant trends into designs
• Ensure all projects are completed within defined timelines and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (relevant field preferred)
• No specific certification required

Experience:

• 5-10 years of overall experience
• 5-7 years of relevant graphic design experience, preferably in garment/apparel/fashion/textile industry

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of garment graphics, prints, motifs, patterns, and artwork
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDRAW
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign preferred
• Knowledge of Canva / Figma and AI design tools is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of colour, typography, layout, and composition
• Ability to create production/print-ready artwork
• Strong creative and visual sense
• Project management and time-management skills
• Ability to independently handle projects and guide junior designers
