Assistant Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Sales to manage and drive a large-scale sales team in Meerut. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in handling 200+ team members, driving business performance, and managing multiple levels of sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 200+ member sales team through Team Leaders and frontline sales executives.
• Drive revenue, sales targets, productivity, and conversion across the assigned business unit.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and drive corrective action plans.
• Coach and mentor Team Leaders to improve team productivity and performance.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and capability development.
• Analyse sales performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to company processes, policies, and compliance standards.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of overall experience in Sales /Field Sales / B2C Sales.
• Proven experience managing a minimum team size of 200+ members.
• Strong experience in handling multiple layers of sales teams.
• Excellent leadership, people-management, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of sales metrics, productivity, conversion, and revenue management.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Candidates with experience in BFSI, Insurance, Telecom, E-commerce, or other high-volume sales environments will be preferred.
• Local market knowledge of Meerut will be an added advantage.
