Key Account Manager - Automotive Sales

Education : B.E/B.Tech (Electronics)

Experience : 4 to 5 Years of Experience in sales of Electronics components in Automotive segment

Key activities :

1. Understand the Automotive market opportunity for TDK products and identify the gaps in present business.

2. Approach new and existing customers in Automotive area for increasing business by competitive and fit for purpose offers.

3. Meeting customers, EMS, Distributors and making need-based presentations on techno-commercial matters.

4. Engaging in deep technical discussions with Customer's R & D and Corresponding development department of TDK.

5. Preparing Technical and commercial offers and submitting to the Customers, negotiation and order closure.

6. Executing the order, end to end ( with support of Finance & Service teams) right from order punching to post order complaint resolution.

7 Demand Planning, Sales forecasting, Budgeting, Reviewing self performance and course correction are an integral part of the function.

8. Maintaining and continuously updating the database of Customers & their products & application, requirement, turnover and key decision makers.

9. Achieve Design wins at existing and new Customers for existing / new applications.

10. Developing long-term relationships with Customers through managing and interpreting their requirements.

11. Keeping abrest about industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about existing, and emerging technologies etc.

12. Co-ordinating with the Product Marketing & R & D department teams, and keep oneself updated with latest developments on product, production, process possibilities to offer against market opportunities.

13. Ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained & report the aspects leading to customer dissatisfaction ( if any )

14. Handling customer complaints if any in a timely and effective manner
