Job Description — Clinical Dietitian / Nutrition Specialist
Job Title: Clinical Dietitian – CGM & Diabetes Technology
Department: Medical Affairs / Patient Success
Location: Pan India
Role Objective:
To support patients, doctors and the commercial team in translating CGM data into practical nutrition and lifestyle interventions, while helping drive adoption and effective use of the company's diabetes-management technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition consultations for patients using CGM and other diabetes-management devices.
- Interpret CGM trends from a nutrition and lifestyle perspective and identify food-related glucose patterns.
- Develop individualized meal plans based on CGM data, dietary preferences, lifestyle and clinical recommendations.
- Educate patients on carbohydrate quality/quantity, meal timing, portion control, glycemic response and healthy eating.
- Conduct CGM-based nutrition workshops for patients, corporates and healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with endocrinologists, diabetologists, paediatricians and diabetes educators.
- Train doctors, dietitians and diabetes educators on the nutrition-related interpretation of CGM reports.
- Create patient education material, meal guides, webinars, videos and social-media content.
- Support clinical studies, product evaluations and real-world evidence projects involving CGM.
- Collect structured patient feedback and insights to improve the company's products and services.
- Participate in medical conferences, CME programs, diabetes camps and promotional/educational activities.
- Support the sales team with scientifically accurate nutrition and CGM education.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
- Ensure all patient communication remains consistent with medical, regulatory and ethical standards.
Preferred Candidate:
- BSc/MSc in Nutrition & Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition
- Registered/licensed dietitian where applicable.
- 2–5 years' experience in diabetes, endocrinology, clinical nutrition or digital health preferred.
- Strong understanding of diabetes nutrition and carbohydrate management.
- Experience with CGM/CGMS is a major advantage.
- Comfortable interpreting CGM reports and glucose patterns.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable conducting online consultations and webinars.
- Willingness to travel for doctor meetings, conferences and patient programs.
