Graphic Designer

Mikado is a creative design and technology agency working across branding, marketing collateral, and digital product design. We're looking for a Graphic Designer with strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma to create high-quality visual work across brand and digital projects.

What you'll be responsible for

Develop brand identities, logos, marketing collateral, social media creatives, and print materials.

Create engaging e-commerce designs that align with brand objectives and enhance the customer experience.

Design UI screens, digital assets, and layouts in Figma for web and mobile applications.

Translate client briefs and creative direction into polished, visually consistent, and on-brand designs.

Maintain strong visual consistency across all deliverables in line with established brand guidelines.

Prepare well-structured, development-ready design files, including accurate naming, sizing, specifications, and asset organisation.

Collaborate closely with account managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are accurate, technically feasible, and delivered on schedule.

Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate designs across multiple projects while maintaining quality and consistency.

Stay up to date with evolving design trends, tools, and best practices across branding, digital, e-commerce, and UI/UX design.

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer.

Strong hands-on proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.

Solid understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and brand consistency.

Basic familiarity with UI design principles (spacing, grids, responsive layouts) is a plus.

A strong portfolio showing range across branding and/or digital design work.

Ability to take direction well while also contributing original creative ideas.

Good time management — comfortable handling multiple projects and deadlines.

Clear communicator, able to explain design choices to non-designers.
