HCL BigFix: is an endpoint management platform that automates the discovery,

management, and remediation of all endpoints, including virtual, cloud, and on premises endpoints. HCL BigFix automates the management, patching, and inventory of nearly 100 operating systems.

Job Description: - We are looking for Sr. IT Administrator (BigFix) with 2+ yrs of experience.

Work Location: Noida and Bangalore. Work Mode: Hybrid.

Primary – Expertise on BigFix.

Secondary – good to have Windows , Linux , SCCM skills.

• Strong experience in Windows/Unix/Linux systems installation, operations, administration, and maintenance. Exceptional knowledge of Shell Script and standard utilities, and common Unix/ Linux security tools.

• In-depth system administration knowledge and skills of Linux and Unix and Windows.

• Perform Patch management tasks to include maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for systems, ensuring that patches are installed correctly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures.

• Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact

• Develop, document, and automate technical processes and procedures as needed

• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.

• Create custom fixlets, analyses, and scripting with relevance language to deploy software installations, upgrades, migrations, and uninstallation.

• Create software packages, push and monitor installation progress, and troubleshoot systems that failed to install patches.

•Troubleshoot communication issues between clients and relay servers with BigFix

•Ability to write JavaScript / Python code for functionality and automation.

• Knowledge of BigFix Relevance language and BigFix Action Script.
