What We Are Looking For

We are primarily looking for someone who is used to working in hospitality as the position requires understanding of how operations work. You are good with people and have a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.

You are also comfortable with systems and administrative tasks and with managing a little team and keep them motivated.

Furthermore, we would like you to be able to say yes to the following:

The role...

• To prepare the bar area for service by compiling tasks specified on the opening/closing procedures
• Ensure all drinks are produced to the correct standard as specified in the bar manual
• To maintain required stock level at all times
• To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the bar at all times
• To have a full knowledge of all products available
• To report any dangerous, damaged or faulty equipment to the Department Manager
• To record any wastage in the wastage book
• To observe fire and health and safety regulations at all times
• To work as part of a team towards efficiency in the bar ensuring it retains a friendly environment
• Any other ad hoc duties as directed by Management
• Taking drink orders.
• Creating and serving beverages
• Using the micros system.
• Getting to know members and guests.
• Maintaining a clean and efficient bar.
• Dealing with complaints.
• Accounting of bill payments.
• Closing & opening procedures.
• Working within the order of service.
• Operating a bar station and controlling the flow of drinks
• Attend all training sessions as scheduled
• Any other tasks assigned by manager.
