Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to design, develop, and optimize our enterprise SaaS platform. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP 8.x and modern MVC frameworks (preferably CakePHP).
• Build and support RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile delivery processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 5-6+ years of software development experience across the full SDLC.
• Strong expertise in PHP 8.x, OOP, LAMP stack, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with CakePHP or similar MVC frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Bootstrap, Twig, or Vite.
• Experience with MySQL, NoSQL databases, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).
• Life Sciences or Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Microservices architecture and cloud-native application design.
• Exposure to React Native, Flutter, or iOS development.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Git.
• Technical documentation and SOP development skills.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Work Schedule:

Flexibility to support EST, CST, or IST business hours as required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
