Textile Designer

We are seeking a Textile Print Designer for a India’s no 1 Home Furnishing Brand.

Job Profile:

Responsible for creating original prints, developing colorways, and preparing production-ready CAD artwork for home furnishing and bedding collections.

Head Office (focusing on conceptual design, trend development, and range creation)

Plant (focusing on practical color matching, production handoff, separation, and print execution).

Design original patterns, motifs, textures, design repeats, and coordinated product stories for home textiles and bedding products.

Develop, balance, and execute commercially viable colorways, seasonal palettes, and coordinated print ranges.

Perform precise color separations, artwork cleaning, and repeat adjustments for textile printing.

Execute on-site color matching, standard approvals, and work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate fabric print translation across various substrate constructions.

Collaborate with design, sales teams, and plant technicians to ensure seamless execution from concept to final printed fabric.

Textile Print Designer Requirements:

Education: Degree or Diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.

6+ Years of design experience. Strong hands-on experience in home furnishing and bedding print design, color development, and range coordination.

Experience in developing prints, patterns, motifs, textures, repeats, colourways, and coordinated collections for home furnishing and bedding products

Deep understanding of textile printing techniques, fabric construction, color separation, design repeats, and lab dip/color matching processes.

Strong visual eye, detail orientation, and clear verbal/written communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.

AVA CAD/CAM Software (Essential): Advanced hands-on proficiency in AVA for print design, repeat creation, colorway development, color separation, and artwork preparation.
