Mathematics Online Tutor

Job Overview:

Trivium is seeking dedicated Online Mathematics Tutors to support US-based students. As a tutor, you will deliver engaging tutoring sessions using audio/video and chat formats, develop lesson plans, and assist students at the Elementary, Middle School, and High School levels. This is a remote, flexible role with a focus on effective communication and personalized teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct interactive audio/video and chat-based tutoring sessions.

Create lesson plans and assessments tailored to each student needs.

Help students understand mathematical concepts clearly.

Adapt teaching methods based on the student learning style.

Offer problem-solving strategies and reinforce mathematical concepts.

Job Details

Location: Remote

Job Type: Freelance/Part-Time

Working Hours: 5pm - 2am

Minimum Commitment: 3 hours per day

Compensation: 800-1500 PER HOUR

Session Type Rate

HIT 1:1 800 Per hour

HIT Group Sessions 2:1 1000 Per hour

HIT Group Sessions 5:1 1500 Per hour

Wait Time Rate- In case of student no show, you will be compensated 50% of that session pay.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency in Mathematics (Elementary to High School levels).

Ability to design structured lesson plans and assessments.

Comfort with online tutoring platforms and technology.

Prior teaching/tutoring experience is an advantage.

Selection Process:

Online Test – Minimum passing score: 70%.

Video Recording

Teams Interview – To evaluate communication skills and teaching approach.

High Dosage Tutoring Training – Comprehensive training to enhance your tutoring skills.
