Senior Architect

Company Description Urban Sky Design Studio delivers architectural and interior design solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The studio focuses on functional, aesthetic, and sustainable spaces that align with client requirements and local regulations. In addition to design services, the team provides liaison support for obtaining building plan approvals from various government authorities. This combination of creative design and regulatory expertise enables end-to-end project support for clients.
Role Description The Senior Architect with 5 years of experience, will work on-site in Thane in a full-time capacity, leading design projects from concept through completion. Responsibilities include developing architectural designs, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role involves overseeing project timelines, managing design teams, and ensuring compliance with building codes and approval processes. The Senior Architect will review construction documents, conduct site visits, resolve design-related issues, and contribute to design standards and best practices within the studio.

Qualifications

• Candidate should possess excellent knowledge of bye laws of MIDC, CIDCO, NMMC, etc.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Design, including conceptualization, space planning, detailing, preparing bill of quantities, tender documents and good for construction documents.
• Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Candidates should possess skills in Integration and Software Development as applied to architecture, including familiarity with relevant design and BIM tools.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), along with strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior team members.
• Candidates should possess a recognized degree in Architecture and have substantial experience in commercial, or industrial projects; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
