Area Sales Manager

Hiring: Area Sales Manager (ASM), FMCG Background Only - Resident of Andhra Pradesh ONLY | Tea Sense

Tea Sense is a premium Indian tea brand with a strong base in Jammu & Kashmir and a growing presence across India, both offline and online. We are now looking to build a serious, long-term team in Andhra Pradesh.

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who genuinely knows the AP market and has spent real time on the ground building it, not someone looking to just tick boxes.

What we need:

• 5+ years of experience in FMCG, preferably in the tea category
• Strong hold in 2-3 districts of Rayalaseema - you should know the market like the back of your hand
• A solid distributor and wholesaler network, and the trust that comes with it
• Experience managing a team of Sales Officers (SO) and Sales Representatives (SR)
• Good understanding of AP as a state - buying patterns, local dynamics, and how distribution actually works here
• Good, credible references from the trade and market - people who can vouch for your work and reputation on the ground

What we are really looking for:

We have hired for this role before, and honestly, it did not work out. Some people just did the job to collect a salary at the end of the month, with no real interest in building something. That is not what we want this time.

We want someone who treats this like their own brand. Someone who wants to build a market from scratch and takes pride in it. If you have that hunger and the network to back it up, this role can grow with you.
