Audit and Tax Associate

Shambhu Gupta & Co. (SGC) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit & Tax Associate to join our Jaipur office. The role offers an opportunity to work across accounting, taxation, audit, financial reporting, and MIS, while gaining practical exposure to a diverse range of client assignments.

Role Description

• Maintain books of accounts and perform day-to-day accounting activities using Tally.
• Prepare and manage invoices and related accounting documentation.
• Prepare financial statements using Computax and other relevant tools.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns using Computax.
• Assist in preparing Tax Audit Reports and related schedules and documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports and assist in financial analysis.
• Assist in statutory, tax, and other audit assignments.
• Coordinate with senior team members and clients for the collection, verification, and analysis of financial information.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely completion of assigned work in accordance with applicable accounting and taxation requirements.

Qualification

• B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or an equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Tally.
• Basic to strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and financial statements.
• Knowledge of Computax will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Prior internship or work experience in an audit, taxation, accounting, or CA firm will be an advantage.
