JD - Accounting Assistant

About the role

Unique World Robotics (UWR) is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the day-to-day financial and accounting activities of the organization. The role involves maintaining financial records, assisting with billing and invoices, tracking expenses, supporting payroll and payment processes, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and financial records
• Support reconciliation of accounts (bank, vendor, client)
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups
• Assist with GST ,Roc, compliance documentation, and statutory reporting
• Manage petty cash at Kochi office
• Coordinate with clients and vendors for documentation and payment queries
• Provide support in settling advances & TA

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ZOHO
• Attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills for client/vendor interactions
• Integrity, reliability, and a proactive approach to work Experience:

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA, CMA or CS preferred but not mandatory
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferred
