## About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Engineer to build and scale the APIs, services, and data systems that power our platform, handling sensitive financial data with high reliability.

## What You'll Do

- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs

- Work on and evolve our microservices architecture

- Write clean, well-tested code in Python and JavaScript (Node.js)

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage financial data

- Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to ship features end-to-end

- Optimize performance, reliability, and security across services

## What We're Looking For

- *1+ years of experience* in backend development

- Strong programming skills in *Python* and *JavaScript*

- Experience building and consuming REST APIs

- Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, ClickHouse)

- Familiarity with Git and strong fundamentals in data structures and system design

## Good to Have

- Cloud platforms (AWS), Docker, CI/CD

- Message queues (Kafka, AWS SQS)

- Prior fintech experience
