Senior SAP Basis Migration Specialist – S/4HANA Private Cloud – Full Remote

For an international organization, we are urgently looking for a Senior SAP Basis Migration Specialist with S/4HANA Private Cloud expertise for a Full Remote position.

The consultant will support a major migration from SAP ECC on-premise to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, covering technical migration, HANA, BTP integration, monitoring and security.

Candidates need to be willing to work US office hours.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Lead and support the technical SAP ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migration;

Support SAP Readiness Check, Simplification Items, CVI and migration preparation;

Prepare staging systems and execute migration mock runs;

Support cutover and post-migration activities;

Coordinate system copies, transports and landscape activities with the SAP Private Cloud / RISE team;

Perform SAP HANA administration and performance optimization;

Configure and support Embedded SAP Fiori and SAP GRC Add-ons;

Provision and administer SAP BTP subaccounts, directories and entitlements;

Integrate SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Integration Suite with S/4HANA;

Configure and maintain SAP Cloud Connector, including High Availability;

Configure and support SAP SLT Replication Server;

Implement and administer SAP Cloud ALM;

Provide advanced Tier 3 SAP Basis and HANA support;

Implement SSO between S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD;

Configure SAML 2.0, OIDC, X.509, SNC and SSL/TLS security.

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree;

12+ years of SAP Basis / SAP Systems Engineering experience;

Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA;

Hands-on experience with at least one complete ECC to S/4HANA migration;

Experience with Brownfield S/4HANA conversions;

Experience with SAP RISE / S/4HANA Private Cloud;

5+ years of SAP HANA administration experience, including HA and DR;

Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and Cloud ALM;

Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP GRC technical configuration;

Experience with SAP SLT;

Strong experience with system performance tuning and troubleshooting;

Experience implementing Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD SSO;

Knowledge of Linux (SUSE or RHEL) and VMware;

Excellent communication skills;

Fluent in English.
