Job Profile - Project Manager - Architecture (BIM)

Location: Gurgaon, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Preferred experience: 6-12 years

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Architecture (BIM) with strong expertise in managing BIM-based architectural projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use developments. The candidate will be responsible for leading project teams, ensuring high-quality BIM deliverables, managing project execution timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver projects aligned with BIM Execution Plans and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Project & Team Management

• Lead and manage BIM-based architectural projects from initiation to delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related project coordination and execution.
• Effectively manage and mentor teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Conduct over-the-shoulder training, mentoring, and skill development for team members.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation.

BIM Management & Coordination

• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with the BIM Execution Plan and QA standards.
• Control and update BIM Execution Plans whenever required.
• Establish BIM processes, protocols, data exchange standards, and user access rights.
• Coordinate with design teams and project stakeholders for RFIs, design changes, and model updates.
• Manage model auditing, clash detection, and issue resolution reports.
• Ensure accurate extraction and coordination of data required by various construction trades.

Quality & Documentation

• Maintain overall project quality and client satisfaction.
• Identify project risks and provide proactive solutions during execution.
• Track project progress and ensure alignment with planned schedules and deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.

Must - Have Qualifications:  

·        Minimum 10–15 years of experience in BIM implementation, standards, and project management.

·        Strong experience in architectural projects such as residential, commercial, hospitality, and healthcare.

·        Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit Architecture, and Navisworks Manage

·        Experience in BIM coordination, model management, and clash detection.

·        Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills.

·        Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities.

·        Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within strict timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        B.Arch / B.Tech / M.Arch / M.Tech or equivalent in Architecture/Civil Engineering.

·        Knowledge of SketchUp and Revit MEP.

·        Experience working on international projects and global BIM standards.

·        Exposure to multidisciplinary coordination and integrated project delivery.

·        Ability to travel or work under deputation at local/overseas client offices.

·        Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
