Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Food Safety / Quality Officer with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our fast-growing, purpose-driven food brand.

The role focuses on:

• Designing and deploying food safety and quality systems
• Ensuring compliance with FSSAI and internal standards
• Training and capability-building across teams
• Maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards across the value chain

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and monitor Food Safety & Quality Plans in line with FSSAI and internal standards
• Conduct in-process quality checks, audits, and inspections during production and packaging
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and compliance reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Support process improvements and implement best practices to enhance product safety and quality

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Science (mandatory); specialization in Food Science / Food Technology preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in Food Safety / Quality roles
• Hands-on experience in developing and implementing food safety plans
• Certification in FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 (preferable)
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
