We are looking for a results-driven Undergraduate Sales Manager to lead the end-to-end sales process for undergraduate study-abroad admissions advisory services. The role requires strong expertise in undergraduate admissions, high-ticket sales, and consultative selling, along with the ability to engage students and parents throughout a complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making journey.

You will be responsible for converting qualified leads into enrolled clients, achieving revenue targets, refining sales strategies, and working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to scale the undergraduate admissions vertical.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the End-to-End Sales Cycle: Manage the complete sales journey for undergraduate applicants, from initial lead engagement and qualification to consultation, follow-ups, deal closure, and enrollment.
  • Drive High-Value Conversions: Close premium admissions advisory deals with ticket sizes of INR 10 lakhs and above while consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Conduct Student and Parent Consultations: Lead in-depth discussions to evaluate students' academic achievements, extracurricular profiles, application goals, and suitability for target universities, including Ivy League institutions and other leading global universities.
  • Develop Consultative Sales Strategies: Leverage undergraduate study-abroad expertise to strengthen sales positioning, handle objections, communicate value, and navigate pricing discussions.
  • Manage Family-Inclusive Decision-Making: Build trust with students and parents, understand their expectations and concerns, and maintain structured follow-ups throughout the decision-making process.
  • Optimize Sales Performance: Identify conversion bottlenecks, analyze lead quality and sales funnel performance, and implement strategies to improve engagement, deal closure, and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Share market and customer insights with founders and teams across marketing, counselling, and product to improve lead generation, customer experience, and service positioning.
  • Support Team Development: Contribute to sales process improvements, mentor team members, and take on leadership responsibilities as the undergraduate sales function expands.

Must-Have Skills

  • Undergraduate Sales: Proven experience managing and closing sales for undergraduate admissions or study-abroad advisory services.
  • Study-Abroad Admissions: Strong understanding of undergraduate international admissions processes, university selection, application requirements, and student-parent decision-making.
  • High-Ticket Sales: Demonstrated ability to close premium service engagements worth INR 10 lakhs or more.
  • Consultative Selling: Ability to understand customer needs, communicate value, handle objections, and build trust with high-achieving students and their families.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written English, with the confidence to engage parents and students as a knowledgeable and credible advisor.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to use data points such as university rankings, admission rates, student profiles, and historical outcomes to build persuasive sales narratives.
  • Ownership and Execution: A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to manage the sales pipeline independently and drive results with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in undergraduate sales, preferably within study-abroad admissions or international education consulting.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing high-ticket deals of INR 10 lakhs and above.
  • Experience advising students applying to Ivy League colleges and other top international universities.
  • Strong understanding of the undergraduate study-abroad sales cycle, including parent involvement and long consideration periods.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, conducting consultations, and converting prospective clients into paying customers.
  • Prior experience mentoring sales professionals or managing a team is an advantage.
