Job Summary

Vidyashilp University is looking for enthusiastic, student-focused Admission Counsellors to join our Admissions team. In this role, you will guide prospective students and parents through the admission process, share key details about our university programs, and help drive enrollment targets

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
• Clearly explain program offerings, eligibility criteria, and admission procedures.
• Consistently follow up with leads and inquiries generated across various channels.
• Coordinate and participate in open houses, school visits, education fairs, and webinars.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead-generation initiatives and campaigns.
• Handle walk-in queries and conduct campus tours to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Assist with application documentation, interview scheduling, and overall onboarding formalities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• 1 to 5 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or client-facing roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Kannada/Hindi is an added advantage).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and handle queries effectively.
• Basic working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office suite.
• Target-driven mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
