Interior Designer - Workplace

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with experience in workplace Interiors to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative workplace design solutions, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with client requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop workplace interior design concepts aligned with client briefs, brand guidelines, and functional requirements.
• Prepare space planning layouts, furniture plans, and workplace design solutions.
• Create detailed design presentations and material specifications.
• Produce accurate working drawings.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD with a high level of accuracy.
• Develop 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp for design presentations and client approvals.
• Coordinate with project managers, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors during design development and execution.
• Conduct site visits, surveys, and design audits as required.
• Review shop drawings and material submissions to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Support project execution teams by resolving design-related issues during construction.
• Stay updated on workplace design trends, materials, sustainability practices, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in workplace interior design projects.
• Proven experience in corporate offices, coworking spaces, or commercial fit-out projects.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Advanced proficiency in PhotoShop.
• Space planning and workplace design expertise.
• Working drawing preparation and detailing skills.
• Material and furniture specification knowledge.
• Knowledge of Enscape, V-Ray, or other rendering software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Basic understanding of MEP coordination and construction methodologies.
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
• Excellent visualization and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
