SAP S/4HANA Source-to-Pay Data Migration Consultant

Our client is seeking a Regional Data SME – Source to Pay (S2P) to lead regional master data harmonisation, governance, validation, and migration activities as part of a SAP S/4HANA transformation. The role will own S2P data domains across procurement and accounts payable, working with global teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure accurate and seamless migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own regional S2P data scope, including Purchasing, Vendor/Supplier Master, Contracts, Source Lists and Purchasing Info Records.

2. Lead fit-gap analysis, data profiling, mapping, cleansing, harmonisation, and migration activities.

3. Coordinate SAP ECC to S/4HANA data migration, including mock migrations/trial loads and conversion validation.

4. Drive data governance, quality and standardisation across markets, plants, categories and functions.

5. Lead data validation, defect resolution, testing/UAT and regional sign-off.

6. Support cutover, go-live and hypercare activities and resolve post-migration data issues.

7. Conduct workshops, training and stakeholder discussions while acting as the primary regional POC for S2P data migration.

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, specifically within Source-to-Pay (S2P) domains, including Purchasing, Vendor/Supplier Master, Contracts, Source Lists and Purchasing Info Records.

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes, with at least 2 S/4HANA transformation project experiences.

• Strong expertise in SAP ECC to S/4HANA data migration, including data profiling, extraction, mapping, conversion, validation and mock migration cycles.

• Hands-on experience in data cleansing, harmonisation, governance and master data quality management across regional/local business requirements.

• Strong understanding of S2P, SAP MM and FI integration, particularly procurement and accounts payable processes.

• Experience conducting fit-gap analysis, defining data requirements, resolving data conversion issues and managing data-related defects through testing/UAT.

• Ability to work with global data teams, implementation partners, business SMEs, data owners and cross-functional stakeholders across markets, plants and functions.

• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, communication, workshop facilitation and project management skills, with the ability to drive regional data migration and governance activities.
