About the Job:

Role Title : Senior Project Controller

• Experience : 8-12 years
• Location : Bangalore
• Education : B.Tech Civil or Mechanical Engineering / MBA / M.Tech / PGDM in Project Management / Construction Management

Job Description :

• Develop, manage, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost baselines and financial reports
• Monitor project costs, schedules, and performance metrics to identify variances and potential risks
• Perform cost variance and trend analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely cost, progress, and forecast reporting
• Support or integrate project schedules using MS Project / Primavera P6
• Monitor progress against planned milestones and deliverables
• Perform Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and performance metrics
• Maintain Estimate-to-complete and estimate-at-completion (EAC) forecasts
• Track changes, variations, and claims and assess financial impacts
• Project invoicing based on resources, materials etc. using ERP (Maconomy, SAP, Ecosys etc.).
• Implement and maintain project control systems, tools, and best practices
• Analyze project data to provide insights and recommendations for improving project efficiency and profitability
• Prepare monthly project reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management and stakeholders
• Improve reporting efficiency through analytics and automation using tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Advanced Excel / VBA)
• Prepare interactive PowerBI dashboards for overall project controls insights and performance KPIs.
• Provide guidance and training to Junior Project controllers and interns.
• Support in operations and Team management

Eligibility Criteria :

• Experience of working in Project Controls / Project Management
• Candidates with similar experience in any Design & Engineering or Project Management Consulting Organizations are preferred.
• Team management experience will be an advantage

Software Skills :

• Advanced excel,
• Microsoft Project / Primavera P6,
• Maconomy / Ecosys or any other ERP system,
• Power BI
• ProjectWise / SharePoint
