Job Location - Dholera, Gujarat

Greenfield Project Finance & Cost Control

  • Drive financial monitoring and control of the large-scale Greenfield capital projects
  • Track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and cash flows and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with project teams to evaluate financial impact of scope changes and project risks
  • Support project governance through regular financial reviews and cost optimization initiatives.

MIS and Budget Reporting

  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and executive MIS reports.
  • Provide timely reporting on project performance, cost trends, cash flow, and key financial metrics.
  • Improve reporting automation, standardization, and data accuracy.
  • Generate presentations and analytical reports for senior leadership reviews.

Finance Operations

  • Oversee finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
  • Ensure smooth month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Strengthen internal controls, compliance frameworks, and financial governance.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities as required.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to financial controls and statutory requirements.
  • Facilitate audits and provide documentation for cost-related reviews

Business Partnering

  • Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Projects, Operations, and Commercial teams.
  • Provide financial guidance to business stakeholders on budgeting, investment decisions, and cost management.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and financial discipline across the organization

Essential Attributes

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of project finance, project cost control, and capital expenditure management.
  • Strong knowledge of finance operations, accounting principles, and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in SAP/Oracle ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is preferred

Behavioural Skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with ability to act quickly on ground realities.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.
  • MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution will be an added advantage

Experience

  • 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in FP&A, MIS, Finance Operations, and Project Finance.
  • Ability to establish finance processes and controls in evolving business environments.
  • Strong capability to work with senior leadership and drive financial excellence.
  • Experience supporting Greenfield projects, industrial projects, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
