What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable web, mobile, and backend applications. 

• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from technical planning and implementation to testing, deployment, and production monitoring. 

• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications using AWS, Docker, and cloud infrastructure. 

• Participate in technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and improve system performance and scalability. 

• Contribute to code reviews, engineering best practices, and continuous improvements in code quality and development workflows. 

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining code quality and reliability. 

Requirements

About you: 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. 

• Understanding software architecture, system design, application security, and performance optimization. 

• Strong experience in front-end development, preferably React.js. 

• Hands-on experience building mobile applications, preferably React Native. 

• Strong backend development experience with technologies such as Node.js, Python, Elixir, or similar. 

• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs. 

• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and MongoDB. 

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS or GCP 

• Practical experience with Docker and containerized applications. 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments. 

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

• Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with Elixir and Phoenix. 

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch. 

• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools. 

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Sentry. 

• Experience working in healthcare or security-sensitive environments. 

• Knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure best practices. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• Time Zone: Must be able to work in Malaysia/Singapore time (GMT+8).

• Language: Must be proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Salary Range: MYR8,300 - MYR13,300
