Assistant Manager

About the Role

Policybazaar is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Telesales to lead large-scale sales teams and drive business performance. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to hardcore B2C sales, inside sales, outbound sales, and large team handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large Inside Sales / Outbound Sales teams.
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Monitor key metrics including Productivity, Conversion, Attrition, and Shrinkage.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to improve sales performance.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Manage team attendance, productivity, adherence, and overall performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Work closely with Training, Quality, HR, and Operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to sales processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and analyze MIS and performance reports.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Sales / Telesales / Inside Sales.
• Hardcore Sales experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in B2C Sales.
• Experience handling Inside Sales / Outbound Sales teams.
• Proven experience in large team handling and people management.
• Hands-on experience in managing Attrition and Shrinkage.
• Strong understanding of sales productivity, conversion, and revenue metrics.
• Marathi language proficiency is mandatory.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong target-oriented and analytical approach.
• Graduation is mandatory.
