Key Responsibilities:


1. Enterprise Strategy

  • Support formulation and refresh of the company's long-term corporate strategy.
  • Develop strategic recommendations based on internal performance and external market trends.
  • Facilitate annual strategy planning and business planning cycles.
  • Build strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities
  • Lead analytical workstreams for growth strategy development
  • Develop business cases and financial models supporting growth initiatives.


2. Strategic Projects

Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives including:

  • Revenue growth management
  • Commercial excellence
  • Sales transformation
  • Cost optimization
  • Productivity improvement
  • Digital transformation
  • Organization redesign
  • Supply chain optimization


3. Market and Competitive Intelligence

Develop a robust understanding of:

  • FMCG industry trends
  • Consumer trends
  • Competitive landscape
  • Emerging business models
  • Macroeconomic developments
  • Regulatory changes
  • Prepare periodic strategy updates for leadership.


4. Financial and Business Model Analysis

  • Build detailed financial models.
  • Evaluate investment proposals.
  • Perform scenario analysis.
  • Conduct profitability assessments.
  • Support capital allocation decisions.
  • Develop business cases for strategic initiatives.


5. Leadership Support

Support preparation of:

  • Executive Committee presentations
  • Board presentations
  • Strategy reviews
  • CEO presentations
  • Quarterly business reviews
  • Investor-related strategic analyses (where applicable)


6. Performance Tracking

Monitor strategic initiatives using KPIs.

  • Track Milestones
  • Financial impact
  • Risks
  • Dependencies
  • Benefits realization
  • Prepare dashboards for leadership reviews.


Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute (preferred but not mandatory)


Experience:

  • 4–6 years of experience in:
  • Corporate Strategy in a reputed FMCG company, or
  • Strategy Consulting with a Big 4 or leading consulting firm, preferably serving FMCG/Consumer Goods clients.
  • Experience in strategic planning, business case development, and cross-functional project management
