Role Overview
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling brand, packaging, retail, and digital assets across the FMCG portfolio. The role requires a keen eye for clean aesthetics, an understanding of consumer psychology, and strong knowledge of modern design workflows. The role will help ensure products stand out across crowded retail shelves and digital platforms while maintaining strong brand consistency and commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Packaging Design
- Design and iterate primary and secondary packaging for new and existing food and beverage product lines.
- Develop packaging concepts that effectively communicate product benefits, brand positioning, and consumer appeal.
- Ensure packaging designs are commercially viable and aligned with brand guidelines.
2. 3D Mockups & Rapid Prototyping
- Create realistic 3D product mockups and conceptual visualisations for internal stakeholder reviews.
- Develop product visuals for e-commerce listings, presentations, and investor presentations.
- Rapidly develop and iterate concepts based on stakeholder feedback.
3. Digital & Social Media Design
- Develop engaging digital assets for multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Create social media graphics, email templates, website banners, and performance marketing ads.
- Adapt creative assets across multiple digital formats while maintaining visual consistency.
4. AI-Augmented Design Workflows
- Leverage GenAI tools and workflows for rapid mood boarding and concept generation.
- Use AI tools for lifestyle background generation and visual exploration to support product photography and advertising concepts.
- Explore emerging AI-enabled workflows to improve creative speed and output.
5. Retail & POS Material Design
- Conceptualise and design high-impact retail and Point of Sale (POS) materials, including standees, shelf barkers, wobblers, and end-cap displays.
- Develop shopper-facing assets designed to capture attention and support conversion.
- Prepare print-ready artwork for packaging and retail vendors, ensuring high-fidelity physical output.
6Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 7–8 years of professional graphic design experience.
- Proven experience across end-to-end commercial packaging, retail/POS materials, and digital brand execution.
- Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or Wellness sectors will be preferred.
- Candidates must have a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating relevant commercial design experience.
