About the Role:

We are looking for a UK Counsellor with strong knowledge of the UK education market to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate will counsel prospective students and parents, guide them through the UK admissions process, and convert qualified leads into successful enrollments.

This is a B2C, target-driven sales role that requires excellent communication skills, consultative selling abilities, and a student-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents on UK study abroad opportunities, universities, courses, scholarships, and admission requirements.
• Handle B2C leads through calls, virtual consultations, and in-person counselling sessions.
• Assess students' academic profiles, career aspirations, budgets, and preferences to recommend suitable UK universities and programs.
• Guide students through the complete UK application journey, including university shortlisting, application submission, offer acceptance, and pre-departure support.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents through effective counselling and regular follow-ups.
• Achieve monthly admissions and revenue targets while maintaining high conversion rates.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application progress in the CRM.
• Stay updated on UK university admissions, visa regulations, scholarships, and market trends.

Candidate Profile:

• 1-3 years of experience in UK Study Abroad Counselling.
• Strong knowledge of UK universities, courses, admissions, scholarships, and visa processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Confident, presentable, and student-focused personality.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
