About the Role
As a Senior Admission Counsellor (Admission Profiler), you will be the first point of contact for prospective learners. Your role is to engage with potential candidates, understand their aspirations, qualify their requirements, and create interest in upGrad's Study Abroad programs.
You will play a vital role in connecting learners with our Admission Counsellors by scheduling Video Counselling (VC) sessions for Germany and Italy Public University programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with assigned leads through the auto-dialer system.
- Qualify leads by understanding their interest, eligibility, and suitability for upGrad's Germany and Italy Public University programs.
- Build trust and credibility with prospective learners through effective communication and active listening.
- Schedule Video Counselling (VC) sessions with Admission Counsellors for qualified leads.
- Coordinate between learners and counsellors to ensure a seamless admission experience.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, follow-ups, and updates in the CRM system.
- Work towards achieving daily productivity and weekly revenue targets.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 2 years of experience in EdTech Sales (Study Abroad experience is an added advantage).
- At least 1 year of continuous tenure in the current or previous organization.
- Graduation is mandatory.
- Comfortable working in a 6-day work week.
- Currently working as an Individual Contributor (IC).
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand learner needs with patience and empathy.
- Strong persuasion and objection-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong follow-up, time management, and organizational skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Minimum 300 minutes of talk time per day.
- Schedule 5 Video Counselling (VC) sessions daily.
- Connect with at least 80% of assigned leads every day.
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly revenue targets.
Note: KPIs may vary depending on the business vertical.
