Head of Vehicle Management

The Head of Vehicle Management is responsible for overseeing the complete vehicle lifecycle, ensuring fleet readiness, compliance, operational efficiency, and proper asset management. This role will lead vehicle administration, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, vehicle registration, and deployment activities to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Management

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve vehicle management policies, procedures, and standards.
• Manage vehicle quantity, quality, condition, and availability to support operational requirements.
• Ensure all vehicle-related legal documentation, including registration, licenses, insurance, permits, and other regulatory requirements, are properly maintained and compliant with local laws.
• Monitor vehicle records and ensure timely renewal of all required documentation.
• Support drivers in proper vehicle usage, compliance, and vehicle-related administration.

2. Warehouse Management

• Oversee vehicles stored in warehouses awaiting registration, deployment, or operational use.
• Ensure accurate vehicle inventory tracking and reporting.
• Maintain vehicle condition, security, and readiness while under warehouse management.
• Implement controls to safeguard vehicle assets and minimize loss or damage.

3. Logistics Management

• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth vehicle importation, transportation, delivery, and acceptance.
• Monitor logistics timelines and ensure vehicles are received according to business requirements.
• Support vehicle receiving, inspection, and handover processes.

4. Vehicle Registration & Deployment

• Manage vehicle registration, licensing, and regulatory approval processes.
• Ensure all procedures required to put vehicles into operation are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure vehicles are operationally ready for deployment.
• Monitor vehicle deployment plans and support fleet expansion activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in fleet management, vehicle operations, transportation, logistics, or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle registration, legal compliance, insurance, and fleet administration.
• Experience managing vehicle imports, deployment processes, and warehouse operations.
• Strong stakeholder management, planning, and execution skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment.
