Job Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Analog & High-Speed Circuit Design Engineer to design, develop, analyse, and validate advanced analog and high-speed electronic circuits. The role requires strong expertise in high-speed circuit design and analog circuit design, with the ability to translate system requirements into robust, high-performance circuit solutions.
You will work across the complete circuit development lifecycle, from architecture and schematic design through simulation, prototyping, debugging, validation, and design optimisation. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in analog electronics, signal integrity, high-speed interfaces, and circuit performance analysis.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and high-speed electronic circuits based on system and product requirements.
- Develop circuit architectures, schematics, and component selections for analog and high-speed applications.
- Design high-speed signal paths while addressing signal integrity, noise, bandwidth, impedance, crosstalk, and timing considerations.
- Perform analog circuit design and analysis involving amplifiers, filters, drivers, receivers, power-related circuits, and signal-conditioning blocks.
- Simulate and analyse circuit performance using appropriate SPICE and electronic design automation tools.
- Conduct frequency-domain and time-domain analysis to validate circuit performance and identify potential design issues.
- Work closely with PCB and layout teams to ensure high-speed and analog designs are implemented according to electrical requirements.
- Participate in schematic and PCB design reviews, design verification, and technical discussions.
- Support prototype bring-up, laboratory testing, measurement, debugging, and performance validation.
- Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, signal generators, and other laboratory equipment for circuit characterisation and debugging.
- Investigate hardware failures and performance issues and identify root causes through systematic analysis.
- Optimise circuit designs for performance, power consumption, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, simulation results, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support design qualification, verification, and production readiness activities.
- Stay current with emerging high-speed interfaces, analog technologies, circuit-design methodologies, and electronic design tools.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of professional experience in analog, mixed-signal, high-speed, or electronic circuit design.
- Strong hands-on expertise in High-Speed Circuit Design and Analog Circuit Design.
- Strong understanding of analog electronics, circuit theory, signal integrity, noise, impedance, bandwidth, and frequency response.
- Experience designing and analysing high-speed signal paths and interfaces.
- Strong understanding of component selection, schematic development, circuit simulation, and hardware debugging.
- Experience with SPICE-based simulation tools and other circuit design or EDA tools.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, and signal generators.
- Good understanding of PCB design considerations for high-speed and sensitive analog circuits.
- Experience with prototype bring-up, circuit characterisation, validation, and design optimisation.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate system requirements into practical circuit designs.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to circuit analysis and debugging.
- Good understanding of PCB layout, grounding, power integrity, decoupling, and electromagnetic interference considerations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical priorities and design activities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
