PROJECT MANAGER/SR.MANAGER

1. Qualification & Experience:B.Tech / BE - Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering8-10 Years experience in Project Execution in Explosive / Chemical / Pharma / Process IndustryExperience in Greenfield & Brownfield projects, PESO licensing must2. Job Objective:

To lead and manage end-to-end projects from concept to commissioning for new Explosive/Chemical plants, including planning, execution, licensing, and handover as per statutory norms and safety standards.3. Key Roles & Responsibilities:A) Project Planning & Execution:Prepare Project Plan, DPR, Budget, BOQ and execution schedule.Handle complete Greenfield project for Detonator / Emulsion / Bulk Explosive / Chemical plant.Site development, civil construction, machinery erection, utility installation.B) Technical & Coordination:Coordinate with Design consultants, Machine suppliers, Electrical & Instrumentation vendors.Review P&ID, GA Drawings, Layouts, Equipment Specifications.Ensure installation of Reactors, Mixers, Dosing Systems, PLC/SCADA, Boilers, Compressors, ETP/STP.C) Statutory & Compliance:Liasoning for PESO, Factory Inspector, Pollution Control Board, Fire, Electricity Board approvals.Ensure compliance with Explosives Rules 2008, Factories Act, GMP, ISO, Safety Standards.Prepare documents for PESO license, Building stability certificate.D) Procurement & Cost Control:Float enquiries, techno-commercial comparison, vendor selection, negotiation.Control project cost, avoid overrun, ensure timely procurement.E) Team & Safety Management:Lead Project Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors and ensure daily progress.Conduct safety toolbox talks, ensure 100% safety during construction.Regular reporting to Director / Management on progress, cost & timelines.4. Skills Required:Strong knowledge of Chemical Plant Projects, AutoCAD, MS ProjectKnowledge of PESO, PCB, Factory Act, GMP, HazopGood leadership, vendor management and liasoning skillsAbility to handle multiple contractors and meet deadlines
