Technical Animator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Game Animator / Technical Animator to support our 3D game projects. The role will focus on creating, adapting, and implementing high-quality character and gameplay animations using both traditional and mocap-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement character and gameplay animations.
• Work with mocap data, animation cleanup, and retargeting.
• Implement IK and procedural animation where required.
• Integrate and test animations in Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with programmers, designers, and artists to deliver production-ready animations.
• Support and improve the project's animation workflow and pipeline.
• Ensure animation quality and performance meet real-time game requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 +years of experience in Animation
• 3+ years of experience in game animation / technical animation.
• Strong knowledge of character animation.
• Hands-on experience with Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Proficiency in Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or equivalent.
• Experience with mocap, retargeting, IK, and real-time animation.
• Experience with gameplay/combat animation.
• Ability to work independently and deliver tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proven experience in shipping at least one commercial game

Good to Have

• Experience with Cascadeur, MotionBuilder, or AI mocap tools.
• Experience with procedural animation.
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge.
