Title: Finance Executive (US Accounting)

Experience: 3-4 years

Location: Gurgaon

Roles & Responsibilities:

QuickBooks experience is mandatory; Tally ERP knowledge is preferred.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage end-to-end AP/AR operations, including invoice processing, verification, payment coordination, vendor reconciliations, and timely ledger updates.
• Book-keeping & Accounting: Maintain accurate books of accounts, record journal and provision entries, manage prepaid expenses, and ensure proper classification and documentation of financial transactions.
• Bank & Account Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure all transactions are accurately reflected in the books.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, P&L reports, MIS reports, and budget vs. actual variance analysis.
• Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Support GST filing and reconciliation, TDS calculations and compliance, and ensure timely maintenance of statutory records in accordance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules, supporting documents, reconciliations, and required financial records.
• Expense Management: Monitor and record company expenses, review employee reimbursement and expense claims, ensure adherence to company policies, and identify potential areas for cost optimization.
• Vendor & Customer Accounting: Maintain accurate vendor and customer accounts, conduct periodic reconciliations, follow up on outstanding receivables/payables, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including provisions, accruals, reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Accounting Software: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Mandatory) and Tally ERP for accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Required skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, AP/AR, reconciliations, GST, and TDS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and data management.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounting activities and deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive financial information.
