As a Tax Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Direct and Indirect Tax function, including month-end and quarter-end close activities, tax accounting, reconciliations, and provision calculations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to reporting and presentations for senior management on key tax and financial metrics.

This opportunity is exclusively for Semi qualified CA / CMA candidates (Both groups of Inter completed)
Responsibilities
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
  • Perform account reconciliations and prepare tax sub-ledgers.
  • Conduct balance sheet and P&L flux analysis.
  • Prepare and support direct and indirect tax provisions.
  • Prepare or review VAT/GST input and output reports for statutory filings.
  • Assist in tax compliance, reporting, and audit-related activities.
  • Collaborate with Tax, IT Systems, Accounts Payable, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support management reporting and presentation of key tax metrics.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • CA Inter / CMA Inter (Semi-qualified) candidates - Both Groups completed
  • 0 to 1 years of experience in Tax Accounting, Financial Accounting, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax processes.
  • Experience in preparing tax reconciliations and tax provisions.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Advanced formulas
    • Macros (preferred)

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to VAT/GST compliance and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
