Senior Architect

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Architect who can take ownership of a project across design, technical development, documentation, coordination, and execution.

The role requires strong architectural design capabilities combined with a practical understanding of construction and site execution. The ideal candidate should be able to develop and critique design, resolve technical and site-related challenges, coordinate effectively with consultants and project teams, and drive the project forward in a systematic manner.

This is not a purely design role nor a project coordination role. We are looking for someone who can contribute meaningfully across the entire architectural process—from developing the design to ensuring that it can be effectively translated into construction. The role involves managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, mentoring junior team members, and participating in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through detailed design and execution.
• Develop design presentations, working drawings, details, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate integration of architectural, structural, MEP, interiors, landscape, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings, specifications, materials, and technical submissions.
• Use strong construction and site knowledge to identify and resolve design and execution issues.
• Coordinate necessary design revisions arising from site conditions and construction requirements.
• Conduct site visits as required to understand and address execution-related issues.
• Lead and mentor junior architects and ensure timely project deliverables.
• Maintain systematic follow-up, coordination, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• B.Arch / M.Arch from a recognized institution.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, on large-scale commercial, residential, and corporate projects is mandatory.
• Strong architectural design and design development capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, working drawings, construction methods, materials, and site execution.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve design, technical, and site-related issues.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• COA Registration Required.
