Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and supporting Elevate Financial Services' data engineering platform. The role involves working with diverse teams and subject matter experts to configure, deploy, and maintain data processes, ensuring the enhancement of the data ecosystem. The candidate focusing on data pipelines, warehousing, and integration.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams of varying expertise to solve complex problems.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills for dynamic discussions with engineering, product, and business partners.
• Configure and customize data processes, including pipeline development, warehousing, reporting, and third-party integrations.
• Manage data imports and transfers across various systems.
• Create technical documentation, and guide process users through workshops and demos.
• Drive data engineering projects, managing requirements, development, and production releases.
• Lead a team of data and analytics engineers to deliver solutions for multiple business units.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency with Snowflake SQL, Python, and data engineering design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills, including teaching/mentoring team members.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Matillion, Gen AI, and Streamsets.
• Automation/integration experience with data engineering tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps.
