Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler with experience in enterprise data modeling, ontology/semantic modeling, and insurance data. The role involves designing enterprise data models, ontologies, and semantic frameworks to support data integration, analytics, AI, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Develop and maintain enterprise ontologies, semantic models, and knowledge graphs.
• Define business entities, relationships, and data standards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models.
• Support data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, engineering, and analytics teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Modeling or Data Architecture.
• Strong experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ontology and semantic modeling.
• Knowledge of RDF, OWL, SPARQL, or similar semantic technologies.
• Experience with data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Insurance domain experience and knowledge of ACORD.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, Neo4j, Stardog, Timbr, or similar platforms.
• SQL and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience with data governance and metadata tools (Collibra, Purview, Alation).
• Exposure to AI/GenAI and enterprise knowledge graph implementations.
