We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our animal healthcare organization in Powai, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal healthcare and bring significant financial expertise to drive our strategic growth and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial future of our company, ensuring robust financial planning, risk management, and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support business growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Manage financial risk through strategic planning and analysis.
• Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Optimize financial operations and controls to enhance efficiency.
• Support senior management in strategic decision-making through financial insights.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
• Develop and maintain financial systems and processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.

Qualification Criteria:

• 15 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the animal healthcare sector.
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning and execution.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the animal healthcare industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in finance or business administration.
• Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is highly desirable.
