Position Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Lead with strong experience in Java and PHP, backend development, web application architecture, and cloud technologies. This role involves leading development efforts for full-stack web applications, working closely with a collaborative engineering team, and delivering high-quality code and solutions on schedule.

 Your Role Responsibilities and Duties-

  • Work within a close-knit team to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Lead the development of web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and PHP (Laravel).
  • Support front-end teams by integrating and maintaining backend services in Java and PHP.
  • Build and integrate plugins for common PHP frameworks.
  • Develop REST APIs using Java 8+ and PHP, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Address and resolve architectural, performance, and integration challenges.
  • Create design documentation and align with established coding standards.
  • Communicate project estimates, issues, schedules, and dependencies effectively with the delivery manager.
  • Engage in feature development, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate in CI/CD processes and manage version control with Git.
  •  Support applications hosted on AWS and work in UK shift timings.

  Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in Java (Spring Boot) and PHP development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases like MySQL and MariaDB; familiarity with ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Experience with REST API development and integration.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Prior experience working in architecture and design of full-stack web applications.
 
    Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with additional AI/ML cloud tools and services.
  • Knowledge of best practices for deploying AI models at scale.
  • Understanding of LLM evaluation frameworks and cognitive architectures.
  • Exposure to microservice-based architectures and scalable deployment patterns.
