SEO Specialist (Local & Technical SEO)

Key responsibilities

● Audits: run technical and on-page SEO audits covering crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema and internal linking.

● Fixes: implement on-page improvements with the WordPress developer.

● Local SEO: manage Google Business Profile optimization and updates (posts, photos, offers, hours), local citations, directory listings and review strategy.

● Planning: do keyword research and competitor analysis per client and service area.

● Content: create content briefs for the writing team, then review and publish SEO content.

● Link building: coordinate outreach. Assess publisher quality and follow disclosure norms; no black-hat tactics.

● Deliverables: define each client’s deliverables, quantities and frequency, and track delivery against them.

● Reporting: produce monthly reports on impressions, clicks, CTR, organic landing-page traffic, and organic form submissions traced to appointments where possible.

● Strategy input: contribute to quarterly strategy and recommendations.

Must-have skills

● 3+ years of hands-on SEO, with strong local SEO and Google Business Profile experience.

● Proficiency with SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4 and GTmetrix or Page Speed Insights.

● Good working knowledge of WordPress and SEO plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math.

● Solid understanding of technical SEO and schema markup.

● Ability to write clear content briefs and edit content for SEO.

● Excellent written English and clear reporting skills.

Good to have

● Experience with US local-business or multi-location clients.

● Experience with Duda or with site migrations, including SEO-safe redirects.

● Familiarity with GoHighLevel.

● Agency or white-label delivery experience.

● Google Analytics certification.
