Senior Data Engineer

Location – Bangalore (WFO)

Experience – 6-9 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures leveraging AWS services and data modeling techniques such as Data Vault.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to create and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation using AWS Glue and Lambda.
• Implement data storage solutions using Amazon Redshift and other AWS data services, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize AWS Kinesis and EMR to support real-time data processing and analytics.
• Establish data governance protocols to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Data Architect or in a similar role within a data engineering environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems systematically.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to various audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DevOps practices to facilitate the deployment of data solutions.
• Proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Glue, DBT, Airflow, Redshift, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data integrity checks.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices in data integration.
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques, primarily Data Vault.
