Production Manager

Production Planning & Control

• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per order requirements

• Ensure timely completion of export orders as per shipment dates

• Monitor line-wise and style-wise production performance

• Optimize manpower, machines, and materials to achieve targets

Quality Management

• Ensure product quality as per buyer specifications and export standards

• Coordinate with QA/QC team to minimize rejections and alterations

• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues

Manpower & Line Management

• Allocate operators, helpers, and supervisors efficiently

• Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity on the shop floor

• Train and develop production staff to improve efficiency

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Sampling, Cutting, Stores, and Finishing departments

• Update management on production status, delays, and bottlenecks

• Participate in pre-production meetings (PPM) and production meetings

Cost & Efficiency Control

• Control production cost, wastage, and rework

• Improve productivity and line efficiency

• Implement lean manufacturing and process improvements

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure factory compliance with social, technical, and buyer audits

• Maintain safe and hygienic working conditions

• Follow labor laws, factory rules, and company policies

Inventory & WIP Control

• Monitor fabric, trims, and accessories usage

• Control work-in-progress (WIP) at each stage

• Reduce excess inventory and material loss

Skills :-

• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Good understanding of export quality standards
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, production reports, ERP preferred)Take ownership of production planning & execution & manage all aspects of garment production.
