We are looking for a Software Engineer (Linux Application) with hands-on experience in Embedded Linux and ARM-based processors to join our team.


🔹 Experience


1–3 years


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Linux applications for ARM-based embedded platforms.
  • Develop software using C/C++ in Linux environments.
  • Work with ARM-based processors and embedded platforms.
  • Develop, integrate, and debug applications on Yocto-based Embedded Linux and/or Debian Linux.
  • Develop and configure Linux services, daemons, and system applications.
  • Debug application and system-level issues using tools such as GDB, strace, dmesg, journalctl, etc.
  • Work with hardware interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, USB, Ethernet, CAN, etc.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Linux networking applications and TCP/IP communication.
  • Perform application deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with BSP, firmware, hardware, and QA teams for system integration.

    • 🔹 Must-Have Skills


    • 1–3 years of experience in Linux application development.
    • Strong programming knowledge in C/C++.
    • Hands-on experience with ARM-based processors — any ARM platform is acceptable.
    • Experience with Embedded Linux.
    • Experience with Yocto and/or Debian Linux.
    • Good understanding of Linux processes, threads, IPC, sockets, filesystems, and system services.
    • Good understanding of Linux networking and TCP/IP protocols.
    • Experience with Git and Linux shell scripting.
    • Basic understanding of cross-compilation and build systems such as Make/CMake.


    🔹 Good to Have

    • Experience with U-Boot, Device Tree, BSP, or Linux Kernel.
    • Python scripting experience.
    • Experience with systemd and Linux service development.
    • Experience debugging hardware/software integration issues.
    • Knowledge of Linux performance analysis and optimization.


    🎯 What We’re Looking For

    We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer (Linux Application) who enjoys working close to the Linux OS and embedded hardware, with strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

    The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing and troubleshooting applications on ARM-based embedded platforms using Yocto and/or Debian Linux.
