Public Relations Manager

Job Purpose: To develop and maintain a positive public image for the organization by managing media relations, corporate communications, public events, influencer engagement, and brand reputation. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent and effective communication with external stakeholders while enhancing the company's visibility and credibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with print, television, radio, digital, and regional media.

Prepare and distribute press releases, media notes, and official statements.

Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and media visits.

Respond to media enquiries in consultation with the Head of Marketing.

Corporate Communications

Develop communication materials for corporate announcements and milestones.

Draft speeches, messages, and briefing notes for senior management.

Ensure consistency in corporate messaging across all communication channels.

Public Relations Campaigns

Plan and execute PR campaigns that strengthen brand awareness and reputation.

Collaborate with the marketing team to support product launches, showroom inaugurations, festive campaigns, and CSR initiatives.

Measure and report campaign effectiveness.

Brand Reputation Management

Monitor media coverage and public sentiment.

Address negative publicity in coordination with relevant departments.

Recommend proactive communication strategies to enhance brand perception.

Event Management

Coordinate media coverage for corporate events and promotional activities.

Liaise with event agencies, photographers, and media partners.

Ensure successful execution of public events and brand activations.

Digital PR & Influencer Engagement

Identify and engage suitable influencers and content creators.

Coordinate influencer collaborations aligned with brand objectives.

Monitor digital mentions and online reputation.

Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain relationships with industry associations, business forums, and community organizations.

Support CSR communication initiatives.

Coordinate participation in awards and industry recognitions.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain a database of media contacts.

Prepare monthly PR activity reports.

Track media coverage, PR value, and campaign outcomes.

Maintain records of press releases, publications, and event documentation.

Educational Qualification

Postgraduate in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, Communications.

Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Brand Communications.

Experience in retail, jewellery, luxury, lifestyle, or consumer brands will be an added advantage
