Role Description The Soft Services Manager (FMS) will oversee day-to-day delivery of all soft services, including housekeeping, façade cleaning, pest control, garden and landscape maintenance, and related environmental services at client sites. This full-time, on-site role based in Chennai involves planning and managing staffing, schedules, and workflows to maintain cleanliness, safety, and comfort across commercial, residential, healthcare, and other facility types. The Soft Services Manager will implement checklists, procedures, and preventive maintenance plans, monitor service quality, and ensure compliance with client standards and internal policies. The role includes coordinating with technical teams, vendors, and clients, managing budgets and resource utilization, and preparing regular reports on performance, incidents, and improvements. The manager will also train and guide on-ground teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support new projects, transitions, and audits.
Qualifications

• Experience in soft services and facilities management, including housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, and related environmental services.
• Skills in operations planning and supervision, staff management, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to implement and monitor SOPs, checklists, quality standards, and preventive maintenance processes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency in basic reporting, documentation, and use of facility management tools or software.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to commercial, residential, and healthcare facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Property Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior on-site management experience in large or multi-use properties, hospitals, IT parks, or malls is an advantage.
